New sword days always mean a new intake video. And intake videos come with some cleaning and markings hunting.
In this video we take a look at a sabre (likely late 19th century is not a bit later) probably modeled on the Prussian m1852 cavalry sabre, and scaled down. What's unusual about this sabre are its painted hilt and grip, respectively painted in red and gold. While I don't assume this was a regulation requirement, the paint does seem to be pretty old, so more research will be needed there.
