The ball is passed from man to man until a Uruguay forward has a shoot. Banks pushes round the post. LV. Crowd. LV. Pan, the corner is taken. The ball goes into middle, there is a scramble but its cleared up field. GV. The ball goes to Wilson. He tries a shoot but it just goes over bar. SV. Crowd. GV. Uruguay attacking. LV. As several players try shoots but nobody gets anywhere near goal. LV. Pan, England on the attack. Player tries a shot but it goes over bar. GV. Crowd at half time. GV. Uruguay kick off playing right to left wearing sky blue shirts SV. Goal keeper Banks saves ball, is played up field.



GV. England attacking. Teams scramble for the ball near Uruguay goal area. The ball goes out to an England player, he passes to team mate Cohen. He passes to outside right. He dribbles the ball to the centre of the field. Tackled by Uruguay player, he is intercepted. He kicks the ball to an outside left. Uruguay attack. LV. Uruguay attacking. Ball is centred. Goalie picks ball up. SV. Uruguayan crowd cheering. SV. England attacking. GV. Pan, ball goes over line for corner. SV. Pan, ball is centred. Uruguayan goal keeper saves. Eventually, the ball goes out to English player who makes a swipe and the ball goes over cross bar. SV. Uruguayan crowd cheering. SV. England making another attack in front of Uruguayan goal area. Goalie Mazurkieviez saves and clears up field. GV. Uruguay attacking near the England goal area. Goalie Banks saves and clears. England attack. GV. England attacking.
