The first thing you notice about the Ultra Boost X, like the PureBOOST X, is the floating arch that creates a visible gap between the mesh upper and Boost sole. The innovation provides hammock-like support that hugs the foot like a close friend. The evolved adidas silhouette features a rounder midsole than many of its siblings but retains an instantly recognisable heel cage. Our first glimpse sees a mix of whites play out across the futuristic sneaker’s woven upper. This mélange is traversed by metallic Three Stripes in blanched copper and a pearly white lace support overlay.
