A massive fire broke out at Gul Plaza, a multi-storey shopping mall on M.A. Jinnah Road, Karachi, late Saturday night, rapidly spreading due to highly flammable goods and poor ventilation. The blaze caused severe structural damage, with parts of the building collapsing, and adjacent structures showing cracks. Rescue operations have been challenging, with dense smoke, extreme heat, and weakened pillars hampering access.
