French President Emmanuel Macron appeared wearing sunglasses on Tuesday at the World Economic Forum in Davos, which his office said was due to a burst blood vessel in his right eye. Macron’s eye appeared bloodshot during a speech at an air force base on Jan. 15, which he told the audience was nothing serious. The Elysee said the irritation was caused by a burst blood vessel and was neither a disease nor an infection.
