Four Nights Of Winter Camping in Gaspésie National Park - Day 4 + 5: Last Views of 2020

On my last full day in the National Park, I hiked up to a view called Belvedere de la Saillie. While the surrounding mountains were still partially covered in clouds, the view was breathtaking. I could even see where my campground should be. :) I ended this beautiful day with some delicious food that I usually would have eaten with my parents during Christmas in Germany had I been able to travel. More snow fell overnight, so much so that it slid down the sides of my tent.

I would have loved to stay longer, but it was time to drive home after a quick stop at the Saint Lawrence River. There were whitecaps as far as the eyes could see. The wind was so strong (40mph / 56 kmh) that snow was drifting sideways.

And just like that, the trip was over, and so was 2020 (yeah!). Steady 40 mph/64 kmh + Gusts
