As the use of thermoplastics continues to grow so does the need for repair. This webinar will cover the evolution of TPC repair, the current methods being used, and ongoing research to overcome the challenges and discover opportunities. Join our two industry experts. Julieta Barroeta Robles from the National Research Council Canada(NRC) will provide an introduction to thermoplastic composite (TPC) repair, followed by the evolution in the field of repair, and ongoing research on the subject of TPC repair in Canada. Followed by SAMPE Fellow, Arnt Offringa of GKN Aerospace / Fokker Aerostructures B.V. where he will review repair in components that are made of TP and describe the repair methods that are being used in the industry as well as ongoing research programs.
