Описание:
The Giant Gila Monster (1959) is a low-budget American sci-fi horror B-movie directed by Ray Kellogg and produced by Ken Curtis, starring Don Sullivan and Lisa Simone (a 1957 Miss Universe contestant), with comic support from Shug Fisher and radio DJ Ken Knox. Set in a small Texas town where people start vanishing and livestock is found torn apart, the story follows hot-rodder Chase Winstead as he helps the sheriff track down the culprit: a giant mutated “gila monster” barreling toward a packed teen dance. The creature effect was made by filming a live Mexican beaded lizard on miniature model sets to create the illusion of a town-sized monster.
