It is a semi dry chicken masala curry prepared in maharashtrian cusine.
slow cooked on low flame so that it absorbs all the goodness of masalas and tastes delicious . it can be served with steamed rice or bhakris but i personally loved it with indian flat breads.
ingredients:
marination:
1 kg chicken
1.5 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp Turmeric
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
curry:
4-5 tbsp oil
2 Bay Leaf
2 Black Cardamom
2 Green Cardamom'
5 cloves
10 black pepper
2 medium onion
1.5 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
2 tbsp Roasted Coconut & Fried Onion Paste
1.5 tbsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Turmeric
1 tbsp Garam Masala
1.5 tbsp Chicken Masala
1 Tsp salt or as per taste
2 Medium Tomatoes
1 cup Water
ginger / coriander to garnish
