GaN Class D Amplifier Gain Tested

Описание: This video is about GaN Class D Amplifier Gain Tested. This video will test Gain across the audio bandwidth of the GaN Systems Class D Amplifier and Power Supply eval kit. I'll use the GW Instek Oscilloscope in FRA mode (Frequency Response Analysis) to run the first test. #GaN #GaNFET #ClassDamplifier #bodeplot

This Class D amplifier uses GaN FETs from GaN Systems, and the AC/DC Power Supply also uses GaN FETs from GaN systems. The Power Supply is built in 2 stages; a PFC stage to make sure power factor is good and it helps with EMI, and the second stage is an LLC converter which provides two isolated voltage rails. Class D Amplifiers are very efficient and can be made much smaller than a Class A or A/B amplifiers of the same power. Also, this eval kit was provided free of charge - although I was not paid to do this video and the eval came with no strings attached.
