Описание: Transition programs can successfully prepare young adults with learning and other disabilities for paid employment. Since 1991, the Horizons School has provided an innovative learning program for young adults who acquire essential knowledge and skills for lifelong independence. This is made possible through effective community partnerships with employers, higher education, faith-based organizations, and agencies. Students select from two tracks – Career Preparation or College Preparation – and complete learning experiences to master the fundamental skills necessary for gainful employment and community living.
