The Ecological Monitoring Program (EMP) is a series of scientifically based research techniques used to assess and monitor the health of coral reefs. Data collected includes fish and invertebrate abundance and biodiversity, coral coverage, coral health, coral disease, and coral bleaching.
This video is an introduction to the course, and also goes over some of the safety precautions and tips for sucess.
