Whether navigating stormy seas in comfort and safety, or exploring shallow bays and estuaries as tender to a larger explorer yacht, ROCKET is the perfect motorboat for an adventurous boating family.

At 50’ long and Powered by triple Yanmar 370HP Sterndrives, ROCKET will cruise quickly through virtually any sea state that you can throw at it (at 20knots +) and power on to a top speed of 38 knots.  Her Rigid Inflatable hull origins (with solid Hypalon-Wrapped Polyethylene tubes for added durability) delivers exceptional stability at sea and peace of mind when coming alongside.

Built by the legendary team behind Redbay Stormforce RIBs on the North Coast of Ireland, ROCKET has proven her capabilities on a circumnavigation of Ireland and regular excursions around Scotland’s Western Isles.

Built and commissioned in 2021, ROCKET has been run for 450hrs during the last 2 seasons, by her sole private owner.  She has been impeccably maintained and is presented in like-new condition.

ROCKET was conceived and created as a self-sufficient, all-weather, family cruising boat.  There’s spacious and comfortable sleeping accommodation for 8 in 3 separate cabins - with no less than 3 full queen-sized beds on sprung mattresses.  She has a well appointed head & shower compartment.  And her spacious saloon boasts a large galley (with hob, combi oven, coffee maker, etc, etc) and a large dinette.  There’s even a washer / dryer on board.  All appliances are powered by either the onboard generator or heavy duty Mastervolt Inverter system; so if planning an extended excursion around remote coastlines you still have all the comforts of home at your fingertips.

When heading out to sea on passage…

Your crew can strap-in to the air suspension Grammer seats at the helm (5 in total)
Power up the 3 Garmin Multi-function displays for a world of information at your command (chartplotter / sonar / radar / ais / autopilot / engine data / onboard camera system / media / etc)  
Set the wheelhouse temperature to your desired level - maintained by the onboard air conditioning or Eberspacher warm air heating
Fire up the triple Yanmar 8 cylinder 370HP Diesel motors.  Engage the joystick docking system to effortlessly slip out of your berth and glide through the harbour  
At the harbour limits, point ROCKET at the horizon, synchronise the triple throttles and open them up… the boat will climb effortlessly on to plane and cruise in comfort anywhere between 20 and 38knots.  With a full tank range of around 400 nautical miles at 23 knots, you can explore far and wide… and quickly!
Safety and Reliability at sea is provided not only by the seriously capable hull but also the redundancy offered by 3 engines, 3 fuel tanks, 3 control systems and even 2 stand alone vhf radios.  So if you have a mechanical issue at sea ROCKET will get you & your family home in safety and comfort
When you’ve arrived at your chosen hidden cove, you can idle into shallow more sheltered water and drop the anchor
Retire to the aft cockpit where you and your guests can relax around the L-shaped lounger seating and enjoy drinks chilled in the cockpit fridge and a meal prepared on the exterior grill
The 3.3m RIB tender, with Yamaha 5HP outboard, can be launched from the davits and used for exploring ashore.  While the large swim platform offers the perfect sheltered spot to relax at the waters edge, enjoy a swim, and watch the sun go down…
