Finance Minister Choo Kyung-ho said today that there are no plans for any more supplementary budgets this year... after the one now in the National Assembly to fund coronavirus relief payments.
At a meeting Tuesday... of the Assembly's strategy and finance committee, Choo said... there are no plans to propose more extra spending unless there are massive economic shocks threatening the local economy... or COVID-19 numbers surge again significantly.
Choo also said,... financing the supplementary budget now under consideration... should not be a concern thanks to this year's excess tax revenues.
