This is a video of silicone mold making. Even though I’ve done a couple molds another way, I definitely still learned a few tricks making one this way. I combined a few tips I picked up with other videos and was much easier this time, yay! It may not be pretty or perfect, but I’ll show you how you can fix a mistake if something goes wrong.
The silicone rubber mix I used was easy to work with but the caps allowed leaking when turned up to pour. Here’s an affiliate link to what I used: https://amzn.to/39WwLaO. After I use up all of this mix, I’ll be trying out the mix mentioned in a couple of other videos. It’s called Mold Star. I’ll add a link soon. (There’s a slow and a fast cure, so keep an eye out when figuring out which works for your project!)
