INGREDIENTS:
Chicken Breast: 700 grams (You can also use boneless chicken thighs)
MARINADE for the chicken:
1.5 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp white pepper
1/4 tsp baking soda
Binding:
1/4 cup corn flour or starch
1 egg
SAUCE:
3 tbsp soy sauce
1.5 tbsp vinegar
1/4 cup ketchup
1 cup chicken stock (or make from stock cubes or just water)
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp red chili sauce or Siriracha
We will also make a slurry using 2 tsp corn flour + 1/4 cup water. (Add more water if you need more sauce). We will add this while making the Chili Chicken Sauce to thicken it.
AROMATICS & VEGES:
2 dried red chilies - it's gives the smokiness to the dish
1 green chili (or as per preference) finely chopped
5 cloves of garlic finely chopped
1 inch ginger finely chopped
1 onion cut into big chunks
1 cup capsicum cut into chunks
1 tsp sugar
Spring onions for garnish.
