Tomb Raider Anniversary Bugs

Описание: This video shows a number of bugs I've encountered and recorded while playing TRA. Some are random, some can be reproduced:

1. The Waterfall Bug (Lost Valley): I came across this one accidentally, but it can be reproduced quite easily: jump into the water and while being pulled to the waterfall, press right and jump. With a little luck you should be able to stand right on the edge of the waterfall.

2. A Tomb in Ruins (Tomb of Qualopec): make sure you are low on health (for example by deliberately running into the arrows in the corridor on the left. Climb to the spot above the gates where you have to shoot the metal gong. Shoot it, swing over and -- if possible -- don't swing into the entrance with the lever, but right next to it. Either way, you have to get down to the floor level and get the checkpoint to register. Kill Lara quickly. Once the loading process is finished, the shattered pieces of the tomb should still be visible.

3. Inside Qualopec's Tomb: this one is hilariously easy to do: in the main menu, go to "Rewards", "Cinematics" and choose "Tomb of Qualopec". Once the video has started, go back to the main menu and to "Play Game" and choose "Resume Game". You should now see the Peru loading screen. Lara will be right inside Qualopec's tomb and you can do all kinds of crazy stuff.
NOTE: Apparently, this one can't be done on the PS 2 (I have received various messages from users telling me that it doesn't work on their PS 2s). It can't be done on XBox 360 either, but it should work on PC and apparently the PSP, too.

4. The Fire Room without Fire (Palace of Midas): this bug can be extremely helpful if you are low on health and have few or no health supplies. You shouldn't try it in case you want the secret, however, because you will risk starting the cutscene in which the flames go on during the timed run for the relic. To cause the bug step close to the pressure pad, adjust the camera angle and move forward carefully so one of Lara's feet is weighing down the pad while the other is on the floor. Once you have the pad weighed down you should be able to step onto it without switching on the flames in the room.

5. Suicidal Centaurs (Tomb of Tihocan): try this one only if you have time AND health supplies. If you have both, it's a good way of avoiding fighting the centaurs. How to do: Once the centaurs have killed Pierre, run and jump into the water right at the spot where the tunnel to the lever is. Quickly swim down to the ground (unless you want to get toasted by centaurs). Take health supplies as needed. Swim to the lever and get out of the water. Now just stay inside that little cave and watch while one of the centaurs will slowly lose health. This may take a while. Once the beast is dead, swim back to the surface the same way you swam down, get a target lock on the other centaur and swim back down to the lever.

6. Jesus Lara (Sanctuary of the Scion): IMPORTANT NOTE: this bug is strictly RANDOM and it will RUIN your autosave, so unless you have done this all along, SAVE your game MANUALLY before finishing the Sanctuary of the Scion. I don't know what causes this bug, but somehow Lara will not be transported to the next level immediately. Instead, she appears right ON the water in the canyon. You can walk around, examine the messed up textures and fall into nothingness. As long as you have saved your game properly, it's quite funny. ^^

7. The Gym Poles Bug (Croft Manor): I only encounter this bug while I use fraps (the devil knows why). It causes the poles in the gym of Croft Manor to swing very quickly and bounce back instead of staying in their turned position, effectively making it impossibly to jump off those poles in a straight line. The only solution to this problem that I have found is to jump off the poles again IMMEDIATELY.

8. Flexible Lara (Croft Manor): Absolutely random bug. Not much to say here.
