Описание: Performance measurement is an activity that measures the performance of an institution based on a standard measurement. Performance measurement activities are implemented to focus on the capabilities of institution in order to be implemented more efficiently. Thus, performance measurement is very important to ensure excellent performance and sustainability in universities. Universities’ performance measurement is involved in teaching and learning as well as research and development and also other consultation activities. The university’s research and development (R&D) activities include research, publication as well as innovation and commercialization. However, based on previous studies there are some issues that need to be taken by management team related to university’s R&D activities. These issues might give an impact on the university’s R&D performance. Moreover, performance measurement is decision making system as to support the decision making activities. The process of making alternative decisions uses a combination of MCDM and clustering methods. The combination of these quantitative methods generates absolute alternative value than only one method. Thus, this paper will discuss on the university’s R&D performance measurement issues by embedding two quantitative techniques which are MCDM and clustering K-Means.
