What's interesting is the time lie that we get straight from the scriptures regarding what time frame in history this event will occur. If we take all the gospel writers (Matthew Mark Luke John) and piece together everything they wrote about the coming of Christ, an interesting timeline is revealed.

Luke the gospel writer tells us:

Luke 21:25-27
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

What is interesting is the phrase “distress of nations, with PERPLEXITY.”

The Bible wasn’t written in English so we have to turn to the original language to get a comprehensive understanding of what Luke is communicating.

Perplexity:
In Greek “perplexity” means to be WITHOUT RESOURCES, to be in straits, to be left wanting, to be embarrassed, to be in doubt, not to know which way to turn.

Therefore Luke is telling us that just before Christ returns, our world will be in a state of distress because of lack of resources, finances, commodity!

God has given us information and truth on what to expect and how to escape it. The question is, are we listening?
