Описание: The first interview of the series "Aikido Off the Mat." In this video series we talk to aikido practitioners who have integrated their practice such that they have taken aikido out into the community, in the form of workshops, talks and other training that helps people understand and practise concepts and tools derived from aikido.

This interview features Quentin Cooke, 7th Dan, sensei of the Burwell Aikido Club in the UK. After reaching 4th dan in Ken Williams's Ki Federation of Great Britain, Quentin got itchy feet, and set out to new pastures. Since then, he has been active promoting aikido globally, not only on the mat, but through books, organisations, and even business training, for which, as a financial services consultant, he is well-qualified to do.

Quentin and his brother Piers founded Aikido for Daily Life in 2004, a democratic multi-style association of independent dojos.
