Theresa May stands firm over demands for public sector pay cap to be lifted.
Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn go head-to-head for second time since general election.
The Prime Minister is taking a break from trying to fix the split in her own party to take a grilling from the Labour leader.
Theresa May faced Jeremy Corbyn at Prime Minister's Questions today as the row over the public sector pay cap bubbled over.
The PM faced calls to give hard-working nurses and other public sector workers a decent pay rise after their pay was capped at 1% since 2012.
Speaking after Mrs May paid a "bung" to let the DUP keep her in power, Labour's leader demanded: “The Prime Minister found £1billion to keep her own job. Why can’t she find the same amount of money to keep nurses and teachers in their jobs, who after all serve all of us?”
Today marks the 69th anniversary of the founding of the NHS - and Mrs May paid tribute to its workers.
But she refused to commit to a proper pay rise. And later she choked on her own words as she tried to explain away a profit-making cinema giant paying its workers less than the living wage.
Mrs May also paid tribute to the "unimaginable" situation of the parents of little Charlie Gard but would not intervene in the case.
