Описание: Mount Olive is a beautiful southern Mississippi small town, located about half way between Jackson and Hattiesburg on U. S. Hwy. 49, and home to the Billy Ray Reynolds Country Music Museum, scheduled to open in October, 2022. Reynolds, a native of Mount Olive, was perhaps best known as Waylon Jennings' rhythm guitarist and band leader of the Waylors in the 1970s, but his career also included an award winning career in songwriting, with songs recorded by Jennings, as well as recording artists, Johnny Cash, Tanya Tucker, Conway Twitty, Dickey Betts, Eddy Arnold, and many other Nashville performers throughout a 50-year career. Reynolds died on November 29, 2019, at the age of 79, and is buried at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery just outside Mount Olive in the Saratoga community.
