In this video, we install the M*CARBO floating trigger pin on a CZ 75 and show how it replaces the factory trigger pin for improved long-term durability and easier service. This style of pin is designed to provide a robust, serviceable pivot point for the trigger while maintaining safe, semi-automatic operation of the pistol.
We start by confirming the firearm is clear, then review the parts and tools needed. After a basic field strip, we take a look at the factory trigger pin, compare it to the floating S-7 tool steel pin, and walk through the removal and installation process. Once the new pin is installed, we reattach the slide and perform a function check to verify proper trigger movement and reset.
The floating trigger pin shown here is compatible with metal-framed CZ 75 variants such as the 75B and BD, Shadow 1 & 2, SP-01 models, P-01, PCR, and CZ-97B/BD, but you should always confirm compatibility with your specific model before starting any work.

Safety & Responsibility:
Always verify that your CZ 75 or variant is completely unloaded before beginning any work. Remove the magazine, lock the slide open, and visually and physically inspect the chamber to confirm it is clear. Keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction at all times and follow standard firearm safety rules. Work in a safe, organized environment and use the correct tools to avoid marring the frame or trigger components.
After replacing any trigger pin or fire-control-related parts, perform thorough function checks to confirm proper trigger movement, reset, and safe operation. Test the pistol at the range with appropriate ammunition to ensure reliable performance. If you are unsure about any part of the disassembly, installation, or reassembly process, or do not feel fully confident performing it yourself, consult a qualified gunsmith.
