It's not a surprise to anyone who watches my channel that I love Pleasure-way vans. I'm not sponsored by them I just love their camper vans. The thoughtfulness and attention to design details is present in every one of their vans - whether its their top of the line XL series or their affordably priced Lexor line.

What I like about the Lexor TS is that it takes everything that I love about my Ascent and then improves upon it. I love the layout of the TS line with the large comfortable rear lounge with lots of windows to let the outside in; the wide open and unobstructed views along the passenger side with your galley facing your own camp site. This is a tried and true layout that is copied throughout the industry but in the Lexor TS the proportions are nearly perfect.

At 20 feet 10 inches the Lexor is just 1.5 feet longer than my Ascent. This means it is still short enough to park in almost any standard parking space in North America. But, that extra 1.5 feet is put to excellent use in the Lexor. You have a larger galley with more permanent counter space; a larger 3-way refrigerator (5 cubic feet); a larger bathroom that feels more upscale and residential and a larger lounge with a sofa that converts into a larger bed. The pedestal table is also larger and there's a closet up front.

The Lexor is built on the Dodge Promaster chassis. That means you get a number of benefits over the Mercedes Sprinter chassis: It's engine is gas powered and it has a cargo carrying capacity that is greater than the Sprinter; It's tanks are larger and it is a few inches wider which gives you more aisle-way space and a wider bed. The extra few inches in width also means you get a convection microwave oven since it can fit under a slightly wider kitchen counter. Because the Promaster is gas, you also get a gasoline powered generator which is fantastic. That combined with the new Automatic Generator Start (AGS) means that you can run your AC off the generator for much longer than you could off propane. Perfect for keeping your pets cool on a hot summer day.

You get every bit of quality and premium-ness in the economically priced Lexor as you do from the much more expensive XL line: hand-crafter hard wood cabinets, hand polished Corian counters, multiplex wiring, color touch screens, ample insulation, lithium batteries. The best part? You can get it for a fraction of the cost.
