Banbasa ICP Connectivity Project | Strengthening India–Nepal Connectivity

Описание: The Banbasa ICP Connectivity Project is a strategically important infrastructure initiative being developed under Bharatmala Pariyojana to provide dedicated four-lane access to the Banbasa Integrated Check Post (ICP) on the India–Nepal border. The 3.86 km long incorporates major engineering structures including bridges, underpasses and a Rail Over Bridge to ensure seamless, safe and uninterrupted connectivity to one of the region’s key international gateways.

The project is designed to improve cross-border trade, strengthen logistics efficiency, reduce congestion on border approach roads and facilitate smoother passenger movement between India and Nepal. By providing direct access to the Integrated Check Post, the corridor will support economic integration, enhance regional mobility and strengthen India's international transport network.
