MEI Voyageur vs Red Oxx SkyTrain - Review - Two Great Carry-On Travel Bags

However, the MEI Voyageur is more ideal for adventures travel to for example South-America were you might be walking great distances with the bag on your back. It also have more room inside and can pack better.

These are the biggest Strengths for SkyTrain (compared against Voyageur. )

-Superior Quality and Overall workmanship. (See Video for more details)
-One of The best Shoulder Strap on the market. (It magically "sticks" on to your shoulder)
-Foam stay on the walls to keep the Clothes from wrinkle.
-Bright Red Interior makes it easier to find your stuff.
-By far easier to carry as a briefcase.

These are the biggest Strengths for Voyageur (compared against SkyTrain. )

-Half The price ($139)
-It has an Internal Aluminum Frame that stiffens the whole bag and helps to carry the load on the hips.
-It is a fully fleshed backpack with Hip Belt for Weight Distribution.
-More room for your clothes and gear.
-Better Zippers that allowed you to open the whole bag in one convenient move. The zippers also are made to be locked together with an external locking mechanism.

Here are similar qualities:

-They are both hybrids, meaning they can hide the backpack straps and be used for messenger/briefcase bag style carry.
-Exactly the same Fabric. Cordura 1000d with Urethane Coating.
-Can Carry-On both on on the Airplane. (be careful with the Voyageur, you can easily overpack and bulk out the size.)
-Both have similar weight.

If you choose to go for any of these bags the colors I recommend are Red for SkyTrain and Coffee Brown for Voyageur.

The perfect bag does not exists. It is a give and take between price, quality, weight and features.
