Laptop Repair: WRONG Customer DIAGNOSIS!

Описание: A Dell Precision 5530 laptop, recovered from an e-waste company, arrived for repair with a reported faulty USB-C port. Although the initial diagnosis suggested a simple port replacement, further inspection revealed that the port could detect USB devices but not power the laptop. Suspecting a MOSFET issue, I examined the laptop under a microscope and found a cracked MOSFET. After replacing the faulty MOSFET with one from a donor board, I reassembled the laptop, updated the sticker, and successfully restored its functionality.
