Stop-Motion Transformation of Cang Toys CT-Longyan-02 Pterhowl. The robot head transformation is pretty cool. I had a crazy experience. One of the ratchet joints was a bit loose, the one that would allow the wings to flap in pterosaur mode. The thing is, the only way to get at the screw for that spring-pack joint is to push out the pin for the hinge that has the robot arm transport linkage and remove it. Pushing out pins can be a real pain in the ass. I managed it by holding a small screw with a pair of pliers (to keep it steady) and then using channel locks (very wide pliers) to press the screw part way into the pin which pushed the pin out. Then I substituted something a bit longer and pushed again. Anyone know if there is a purpose-built tool for pushing such pins out and what it’s called and where to get it?
