"A JOURNEY TO THE LIGHT" - Temple of Poseidon Sounio 2024
In a unique pairing of ancient heritage and modern Art, the Greek Ministry of Culture inaugurated the new lighting of the temple of Poseidon in Sounio, an important monument of antiquity, with the concert of the distinguished Greek composer Stavros Xarhakos, who will present a musical composition that pays tribute to the cultural heritage of Greece.
The modern lighting of the sanctuary of the greek god of the sea, with the signature of Eleftheria Deco, was carried out by the Greek Ministry of Culture, with the sponsorship of Evangelos Mytilinaios.
Conductor of the Orchestra: Giorgos Theofanous
Singing: Dimitris Bassis, Iro Saia, and Zacharias Karounis et al.
With the participation of the ERT Contemporary Music Orchestra.
