Описание: Dr. Gonzalo Mateos, Professor of Animal Science at the University of Madrid, led a research review of papers comparing soybean meal samples from different global regions, and he developed new equations to more accurately calculate the nutritive value of soybean meal. He shared an overview of this work during the 2020 Asia Trade Exchange, held digitally in mid-June. The review analyzed all chemical composition characteristics of the soybean meal, including quantities of specific amino acids and digestible components like sucrose. He explained the impact of the distance from the equator on specific quality indicators. Despite U.S. soybean meal having less crude protein content than Brazil, he described why U.S. meal has higher digestible protein and higher energy levels.
