イスラムと日本は合わないと思ってない？

でも、
それは本当に
自分の目で見た現実でしょうか。
この動画は、
SNSの情報だけでイスラームを判断していた一人の青年が、
実際に日本で暮らすムスリムと出会い、
自分の思い込みに気づいていく物語です。
登場するのは、特別な人たちではありません。
家族を大切にし、
地域で助け合い、
ホームレス支援や災害支援など、
日本社会の中で静かに行動しているムスリムたちです。
これは、
イスラームを「信じる・信じない」を問う動画ではありません。
ただ、
知らないものを
SNSの情報や噂だけで決めつけるのではなく、
実際に会って、話して、知ってみる
その大切さを伝えたいのです。

On social media, it is not uncommon to see Islam described with words like
“scary” or “dangerous.”
But is that really the reality —
something you have seen with your own eyes?
This video follows the story of a young man who once judged Islam only through what he saw online,
until he began meeting Muslims living in Japan and slowly realized how limited his assumptions were.
The people you see here are not extraordinary figures.
They are families, neighbors, and volunteers —
Muslims in Japan who quietly support their communities through activities such as homeless outreach and disaster relief.
This video is not about whether you should believe in Islam or not.
It is simply an invitation to pause before judging —
to move beyond social media narratives
and learn by meeting people, having conversations, and seeing reality for yourself.
In the latter part of the video, you will also see real footage of Muslims in Japan engaged in community service and volunteer work.
