Introducing Doge Surge Cannon:
Note that these stats will be based on the standard of the base in UL, 80,000%. The Doge Surge Cannon is another new type of base, firing a single target shot up to 2000 range away from it after a long charge time. This shot will deal 96,000 damage and spawn a Lv. 3 Surge at a random location between 150 and 2000 range away from the base. The Surge Cannon will fire every 8.23 sec. Like the other Base enemies, it is not immune to Surge for some reason. Your best bet against this cannon is to avoid its range. If you can’t avoid its range, ignore it and hope it doesn’t spawn a Surge into your frontline. The random nature of the cannon and relative lack of Surge Immune units makes destroying the base a slog if you’re unlucky as it can just obliterate all of your attackers when the game feels like making you take another minute to finish the stage. This happens to be my least favorite enemy in the entire game as its entire impact on every stage it’s in is to make destroying the base a slog. Bring LKD or Idi to stages with this cannon if possible. It’ll save you a lot of trouble.
The stage begins by sending in a Loris alongside the occasional Sir Rel and Celeboodle. Stall for full wallet, then take out Loris and hit the enemy base. Lure the Loris that comes out with the boss wave close to your own base, take out the peons in front of it, and use Idi to 2-shot it. From here, just be proactive in using Tourist to prevent Master A from pushing and use Bahamut, Idi, Slime, and Hitman for chip damage on the backline Mole and Master A. Don’t use Dogumaru to chip away as even though Dogu does an exceptional job at tanking Master A, it will never finish an attack due to Mole’s KB. Chip away at the Traitless enemies then go through the slog that is killing the Surge base.
