The Saitama Rapid Railway 2000 Series (埼玉高速2000系) is owned by the third-sector Saitama Railway Corporation and is currently the only type of EMU in its fleet. Besides the Saitama Rapid Railway Line, the Saitama 2000 Series also operates through services to Tokyo Metro Namboku Line and Tokyu Meguro Line. They were manufactured by Kawasaki Heavy Industries or Kinki Sharyo, and powered by Mitsubishi IGBT-VVVF traction control system.
