The AK-47 Aphrodite was added to CS2 in the Season 4 update alongside the Harlequin Collection and Achroma Collection. Unlike regular collection skins, the Aphrodite is a Limited Edition Armory item, meaning it can only be obtained by redeeming Armory Stars — not from case openings or drops. At 125 stars, the Aphrodite costs roughly $50-68 depending on how you acquire your Armory Passes, making it five times more expensive than any previous Limited Edition item in CS2 history.
Like other Limited Edition items in CS2 (such as the Desert Eagle Heat Treated, M4A1-S Solitude, and XM1014 Solitude), the AK-47 Aphrodite is pattern-based. This means each Aphrodite has a unique pattern index that determines its appearance and value. The CS2 community has identified three main pattern tiers for the Aphrodite: Gold Gems, Purple Gems, and Bronze Gems. Tier 1 Gold Gem and Purple Gem patterns command significant overpay compared to common patterns, similar to how Blue Gem Case Hardened AK-47s work.
