Cantor's Diagonal Argument

Описание: Almost everyone has heard about the concept of infinity, but far fewer have heard about the idea that there are different orders of infinities, or why that’s the case. This short instructional video, produced for Digital Foundations (CAMS 111) aims to explain why this is so: first by motivating the method of determining the relative cardinalities of two sets by finding a bijection, and then jumping into a slightly simplified phrasing of Cantor’s clever proof for the uncountability of the reals.
