How to Make Marshmallow Bunnies (and Peeps)

Описание: Okay, so these Easter treats aren’t cookies, but they do require cookie cutters! They also look extra sweet embellished with any number of cookie decorating techniques. While the making of the sugar syrup for the marshmallow requires adult supervision, your kids will love cutting out and personalizing their own bunnies and peeps!

INGREDIENTS:
. About 1 1/3 cups fine-grained sanding sugar, divided (for dusting the pan and marshmallow top)
. 1 cup cold water, divided
. 2 cups granulated sugar
. ¾ cup light corn syrup
. ½ teaspoon salt
. 3 envelopes (about 2 ¼ teaspoons each) unflavored gelatin
. Flavorings, to taste (In this video, I used 1 ½ to 2 teaspoons finely grated lemon zest, 1 tablespoon strained lemon juice, and ½ teaspoon pure lemon extract)
. 5 or more drops liqua-gel coloring, to desired shade (optional)
