The Trap and Roll Escape (also known as the Upa Escape) is a vital part of any self defense course based in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. It is also one of the first and easiest mount escapes taught in BJJ Academies around the world.
Whether your goal is be able to defend yourself in a situation where you are attacked or if you just want to not be stuck under the mount position while training at your local BJJ Gym, applying the technique taught in this video will help you obtain your goal.
