Dr Uma spoke about her adventures with poop and hair & how they reveal so many animal secrets, especially gene flow, movement of tigers across areas, influence on conservation practices, eating habits in vultures & how the clues to these animal behaviors are rooted in genetics.

While Lalit described the crux of the natural killer cells for cancer immuno-therapy that NKure is developing. He described the advantages of NK cells being part of innate immunity for treatment purposes, their ongoing phase 1 clinical trials using NK cells for targeting tumors, & how this cell based therapy will become clinically relevant shortly and at a very affordable rate for all.
