Choila is a typical Newari dish that consists of spiced grilled buffalo meat.Though this recipe is of lamb choila. nowadays mutton, chicken & duck meat are also being used. choila is usually eaten with rice flakes (Chiura), this dish is typically very spicy & mouth watering.It is one of the necessary side dish ni Newar bhoj(samay baji).
For this recipe you will need:
300 gram - goat/lamb/mutton meat
1/2 tablespoon - salt
1/2 tablespoon - ginger paste
1/2 tablespoon - garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon - fenugreek seed
1 pinch - turmeric powder
10-12 - red dried red chilli
2 small - tomato boiled
2 tablespoon - green onion
6 tablespoon - oil
