"Boys Over Flowers" and "Tale of the Nine-Tailed" star Kim Bum performs "When I Get Old during the Manila stop of his “2023 BETWEEN U AND ME” tour at the New Frontier Theater on September 22, 2023.
Kim Bum last visited the Philippines in 2009. Before the fan meeting, which was presented by @ViuPhilippines, the South Korean heartthrob expressed his excitement at being with his Filipino fans: "Just thinking about finally meeting you after so long already makes me both excited and nervous."
The song Kim Bum sang in this video, "When I Get Old," is a collaborative single by Danish singer Christopher (@christophermusiccom) and K-pop idol Chungha (@CHUNGHA_OFFICIAL).
Kim Bum said he was able to listen to this song by coincidence while he was walking during the pandemic. When he heard the lyrics, he remembered his fans, and he wants to dedicate "When I Get Old" to them.
"When I Get Old," which Christopher described as "a celebration of nostalgia and a life of happiness," includes these lines:
"Someday, I'm running out of time
I'll see your picture in my mind
I'll keep our love frozen in time"
