Create Parametric Table in FreeCAD BIM | Beginner Tutorial

In this tutorial for FreeCAD BIM beginners, creation of parametric dining table model is explained. The table can be used in BIM project as an equipment of buildings. It is correctly classified as IFC Furniture class and Table predefined type. Even though the table model is meant to be used in BIM workbench, Part Design workbench is used to create the model.

Viewers will learn how to create a Part Design body, how to use Sketcher to create the basic table and legs footprint and how to use the Pad tool to create a solid from the sketch. MultiTransform tool is used to create mirrored copies of the table legs.

Users will learn how to create width, depth and height parameters in the Spreadsheet workbench. These parameters influence the table geometry.
