Описание: We spent the weekend in Nha Trang, the best city in Vietnam for relaxing in hot springs and mud baths. Nha Trang is a coastal resort city also known for having the best beaches in Vietnam, diving sites and offshore islands.

Wondering what to do in Nha Trang? Here’s our Nha Trang travel itinerary:

Day 1: First start your day off with a visit to Ponagar Tower (Tháp Po Nagar). We were surprised at how close the temple was to the centre so you could go here without even renting a bike. Next we went to Hot mineral springs I-Resort Nha Trang (Bùn khoáng nóng I-Resort Nha Trang), We had already been to the famous Thap Ba hot springs about 3.5 years ago and in comparison, iresort was way better!

Day 2: If you stay the night, make sure you wake up early to watch the sunrise on the beach. It’s definitely worth it! If you choose to visit Hon Trong Mai (Hòn Trống Mái), beware that there is a fee to pay. We were supposed to travel to Nha Trang’s Monkey Island on Hòn Lao island, but unfortunately, a typhoon was heading in and were unable to make it. If you do choose to go on the Monkey Island Tour, we recommend you setting off in the morning as they have certain times when the boat leaves and the road from the centre of Nha Trang to the port is quite far. Let me know how it was if you do go! Finally we visited bãi dài (or long beach) which according to google is the best beach in Nha Trang.

Wondering where to stay in Nha Trang? There are 3 main areas:
Tran Phu Beach/Nha Trang city centre - good for nightlife, restaurants and the beach is well kept and clean. Note that the closer you stay to the beach, the more expensive
Nha Trang Bay and Islands - this is where most of the upper end resorts are located such as the famous Six Senses Resort.
Cam Ranh - This area is expanding more over the years with big resorts. It’s also closest to the airport so nice for a quick getaway without much travelling around Nha Trang itself
