Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1003 Tornado Siren Test, Full Alert, Berlin, WI 4/1/2025

Описание: I'd done some research about Berlin's system on the WI siren map, and set a goal to record as many of their sirens as possible in 2025. They have an awesome mix of sirens, all Thunderbolts and ACA stuff. For their first test of the year, I headed up by myself and recorded this 1003 on N. Washington Street.

Having awakened after an inactive 6 months, this siren blows out dust at wind up, and also does a little pitch fluctuation as it gets going. Maybe it was just the relative height of the siren, but this was easily the loudest Thunderbolt I've ever heard. It was also cool that the sirens ran a full 3 minutes. You can hear hints of the P-15 and another Thunderbolt during the test as well. There were also hundreds of turkey vultures circling around, which was neat. Thanks for watching! I hope you like it!
