Disasters and Public Safety Initiatives Through an I/DD Lens

Описание: This webinar will retroactively look at a variety of disasters that can and have had an affect on the lives of people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. We will look at these disasters from the I/DD perspective for the purpose of planning ahead, “go-bags”, and various protective measures taken to assist during emergencies. We will also look at a variety of public safety initiatives that have been used regionally by various law enforcement and related agencies throughout our area and country.
