According to Mark, the section which included his mother's voicemail is explained here: "I called home to check phone messages & there was one from my mother warning me about a dream she had. Then called back & recorded it and it was perfect, by accident we both say 'I woke up'."
Truly a wonderful song and another artist gone too soon.
