Описание: Most canned and bottled drinks should not see price hikes of more than four cents, when the Beverage Container Return Scheme kicks in. From Apr 1, consumers will pay a 10-cent deposit for their drinks, which they will get back when returning the bottles and cans for recycling. The majority of drink producers, who make up about 80% of Singapore's canned and bottled drinks, will face only a one-off cost to comply with the scheme. Claudia Lim reports.
