One of the most intriguing forms of visual entertainment in the mid 20th century has surfaced. This was made in Illinois as intended to be a music video jukebox if its kind. Back in the days they were called "CineJukeBox". A film projector divided in half inside a carousel of 16mm music films intended to play one song per reel. Though sophisticated, it has two major operations: 1. to play the visual music and 2. to rewind the film while playing music. When done, the rewind assembly returns to its home position. No computers. Just a bunch of large enclosed relays, a vacuum tube and a bunch of motors. The audio amplifier is 100% solid state gives sound to an approximately 12" loudspeaker with a tweeter in the corner. A disc spins the shutter while "vibrates" the mirror to keep a stable picture. (To be confirmed) A metal strip is attached at both the beginning and end of the film to trip a relay to end playing and rewinding. This sat in someone's home for decades until sold to a collector! I've been told that they are going to reprint these films to show their true colors! You can see this when it's ready at Past Times Arcade in Ohio.
