You come from notable stock can can you relate to this at all yeah i mean what's interesting about this topic is all of our children will have the same problem too because obviously everyone on this show is well known um look i can only speak for myself but every single door i've ever walked in my entire life people automatically assume you're going to be a lazy spoiled brat that won't contribute anything because you have famous parents and it's something i have dealt with my entire life i no longer care i think my work and sorry i'm just saying that should be in her linkedin bio continue she accurately herself and my work ethic speaks for itself but i think people think when you have a famous family or famous parents everything's just given to you and things are really easy and i think when you look at people like hunter biden who has shared his struggles uh so publicly and so vulnerably it's not everything that you think it is uh the majority of people i know who have famous parents have struggled with very serious demons because every single thing you do you're related and and everything you do is is gonna be compared to what the famous person has done and it's a tall order i can never be a war hero presidential candidate i don't think that's going to be in my cards in the future i know it's not and people will still always compare you and it can be something that you you struggle with and you take home with you and nobody's gonna feel sorry for a person with famous parents but it really isn't always what people think in fact it almost never is and um yeah i feel bad for these kids trying to just make trying to make a movie and i'm sure they got help because of who their parents are but that doesn't mean the movie's crap it's crap and we'll see how it ends up being well that's the exact point hold on that sonny yeah that's the exact point right megan it's not that you came from famous parents it's not that you grew up with privilege it's what you've done with it well i mean look or what you haven't done with because if it weren't for my last name because that's just simply the fact that think about like every door i've walked into they've questioned like guess what happens when other people try to walk through those doors megan they aren't met with like mistrust of their work i think they're met with security guards right they're not exactly the door slammed in their face they're not even acknowledged they're like can you take out the trash and this is the thing like when she's talking about i don't know what movie they're talking about some kids have done a movie but people are going to be able to judge whether that movie's good or bad but the fact is is that if they weren't who they were nobody would have the opportunity to nobody would judge it nobody would see it nobody would hear them it probably you know another nepotism product really came opportunity that door is open to you like even even in the context of going in for an audition they're just going to pay more attention to you there are ways that you can manufacture that in the context of of an audition or you know when you go in for something that don't require your parents to be famous but you get a leg up and to not acknowledge that because look everybody has their crosses to bear it is a unique cross to bear if you're if your parents are very famous but everybody has their own you know um unique crosses to bear that may be a function of other things but the fact of the matter is very few people have an entree who will be who that door is open you may have to you may have to do well when you get through that door like everybody else but you get through the door which is a huge huge roadblock that has been removed from your path and to not acknowledge that and look and to some extent this is analogous to having wealth in society
