Tory leader Kemi Badenoch claims some Labour MPs have signalled to her party that they stand ready to back a vote of no confidence in Keir Starmer.
Pressed on whether she was ready to table a confidence motion, the Tory leader told broadcasters: “We’ve always been ready to put down a motion of no confidence in Parliament. But the point is winning it — and that is precisely why I’ve made this offer to Labour MPs, to secure the numbers.”
