This oldguy DIY video shows how I made a gun rest sand bag setup like the $30 Caldwell Tack Driver for about 20 cents, after Menard's rebate.
For the big bag, sew 4 Menard's zipper pouches # 246-1961 together lengthwise. Fill 8 ziplock sandwich bags with sand or the media of your choice, put two of the sandwich bags in each of the pouches and you are ready to go.
For the small bag, sew two pouches up the middle and put one ziplock bag of sand on each side of the seam.
Adjust the fullness of the pouch and hardness of the bag by adding or removing sand.
